Chung Yuan Industry-Academia Cooperation & Technology Licensing Center (CYCU IATLC) was established in 2003 and is responsible for patent application / maintenance and technology cooperation. CYCU IATLC has won the “Excellent Technology Transfer Center Award” of Ministry of Science and Technology for five consecutive years, “Excellence Academia and Industry Cooperation Unit Award” of Chinese Institute of Engineers for 6 consecutive sessions, and honor of 2015 “Top 100 Worldwide Universities Granted U.S. Utility Patents”. CYCU IATLC has been able to assist teachers and students to apply more than 60 international utility patents and more than 300 cases of academia-industry cooperation per year, and reach NTD$ 85 million of academia-industry project.
